For spindle work, we use our in-house developed mobile drills. We can produce and/or restore boreholes with diameters ranging from 0mm to approx.1,000mm at high precision. We can also machine flange areas of up to approx. 1,200mm to make them flat. Using high-precision optical measuring, we can ensure widely-spaced boreholes are perfectly aligned. To achieve this, we can use two mobile drills simultaneously.

Examples of spindle work:
Drilling out worn bearing holes so that a bushing can be shrunk in using liquid nitrogen.
If necessary, the surface may be built up by welding prior to spindle work used to restore the original dimensions.
Another application field is external drilling out of bearing stumps or shaft ends.
