Our teams have carried out mobile spindle work on a number of bascule bridges in Spain and Mexico. We’ve machined 3 balance-arm bascule bridges for a new lock in Seville as well as the first double bascule bridge in Mexico. We machined rotation bearings, cylinder and tie rod connections on the bascules, pylons and balance arms. In some places, we cut additional flat surfaces and borehole threads.
